The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW has revealed the opening picture for the 29th Greek Film Festival of Sydney, with the comedy ‘Hear Who’s Talking’ to lead this year’s calendar of films.
The Greek Film Festival of Sydney, organised by the GOC of NSW and presented by Metaxa, will showcase Thodoris Niarchos’ film ‘Hear Who’s Talking’ (Άκου Ποιος Μιλάει) on Tuesday 15 October, 8.30pm, at Palace Cinema Norton St.
The comedy, starring Ilias Meletis, centres around a life coach who is going through difficulties both personally and professionally until the voice in his head takes over, with his inner monologue coming out at inopportune moments to disastrous effect for his life and career.

“An unexpected film will open our 29th Greek Film Festival of Sydney for 2024, bringing to our audience what we all need these days… laughter, joy and a positive vide” said Harry Danalis, President of the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW.
Nia Karteris, Chair of the Greek Festival and the Greek Film Festival of Sydney, added:
“We can’t wait to start our exciting line up with a film that entertains through reality, hilariously smart dialogues and is delivered by a very talented cast.”
Tickets for the opening night picture have now been made available at the Greek Film Festival’s website, with the full program set to be revealed soon.
