The Greek Orthodox Community Home for the Aged in NSW have been awarded for their work, winning the 2024 Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) Excellence Award for Organisation Excellence.
This is a national recognition that highlights their commitment to providing residential aged care services and improving the lives of older people in the community.
The winners of the ACCPA Excellence Awards were drawn from over 460 nominations across Australia for organisations across residential aged care, home and community care, retirement living and seniors housing.
Highlighting organisations, individuals and teams making a difference in the aged and community care sector.
In a statement sent to Neos Kosmos, the Greek Orthodox Community Home for the Aged said they were deeply honoured to receive the award.
“This award is testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who strive every day to provide compassionate, high-quality care to our residents,” the statement read.
“We are committed to continuing our mission of enhancing the well-being and quality of life of older people in our community and so proud of the work of team.
“With a focus on person-centred care, the Greek Orthodox Community Home for the Aged is committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where older people can thrive.”
The award was given out on Aged Care Employee Day earlier this month.
