Olympiacos has lured basketballer Evan Fournier to Greece in a massive coup, with the Frenchman returning to Europe after 12 years in the NBA.
The Piraeus giants officially secured Fournier’s signature on Monday night (Greek time), agreeing to a two-year deal in another big move for the “red-whites” after bringing Sasha Vezenkov back to the club in July.
The 32-year-old French international marks his return to Europe after 12 seasons in the NBA, during which he played for the Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons.

The shooting guard comes to Greece after playing 704 regular season games in the NBA, averaging 13.6 points per game, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
He made the playoffs four times during his NBA career, though never secured the title.
Fournier links up with Olympiacos fresh after earning his second silver medal at the Olympics with the French basketball team, losing to USA in the final.
The basketballer will have his sights set on helping the “red-whites” reclaim the Greek championship after losing out to rivals Panathinaikos last season.
Fournier will have a month to settle himself into his new environment before the 2024/25 Greek Basket League commences in October.
