The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) has unveiled a major collaboration as it has officially become a partner with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
HACCI announced the partnership which will see its members have access to both Chambers, a major development given the Victorian Chamber has a reach of 100,000 businesses and individuals across the state.
HACCI Board Chair Fotini Kypraios and Board Member Vicky Alexiou met with Victorian Chamber Chief Executive Paul Guerra last week, wherein they discussed the deal which Guerra called an “exciting new partnership”.
“It’s the ultimate collaboration, giving the Hellenic Chamber’s small, medium and large business members access to the support, training, events and benefits that come with being a part of Victorian Chamber,” Guerra said.
“The Greek business community continues to be one of Melbourne’s incredible migrant success stories. With the joint aim of enabling business growth and success at the core of both our organisations, I look forward welcoming new members.”
Kypraios stressed that fostering meaningful connections such as this one has been part of the HACCI mission since its foundation.
“Greeks know that connection is currency, it’s what makes us all richer,” the HACCI Board Chair said.
“Victorian Chamber understands this and shares our values, which is why its welcoming HACCI Business members is an acknowledgment to the ongoing contribution of the Hellenic Australian business community to shaping Victoria’s economy.”
Kypraios added that they are looking forward to working with the Victorian Chamber team to elevate the value to members of both Chambers, saying it sets a “great precedent for the benefits of wider collaborations within the Victorian business and professional community”.
As part of the partnership, the two chambers will collaborate through a series of networking events and activities, with HACCI Business Members also getting access to Victorian Chamber Employer Membership benefits.
