The Greek Australian clubs definitely proved to be the real MVPs this season, dominating the Victorian state leagues.

While all the other clubs were struggling to find their footing, these two powerhouses stood tall and brought home victory.

It’s clear that their strong sense of community and resilience not only helped them in the game, but also off the field.

Kudos to these Greek Australian clubs for showing everyone how it’s done, and reminding us all that hard work and unity truly pays off.

The Bayside Argonauts are on a roll, and no one can stop them now! After dominating the field and scoring a promotion to the first division of the state championships, the club is ready to celebrate in style. And what better time to do so than their 40th anniversary? It’s like a match made in heaven – or, in this case, on the field – and the Argonauts are ready to party.

Mark your calendars for October 19th and make your way to 1300 Dandenong Road in Murrumbeena, because this is going to be a party for the books.

Players, coaches, board members, fancy locals, and die-hard fans will all come together to dance, celebrate, and cheer on their beloved team.

So polish those dancing shoes and get ready to boogie the night away with the champions of the field!

The Waverley Wanderers may not have had the smoothest journey to the third division of the state leagues, but isn’t that what makes it all the more exciting?

The team has experienced highs, lows, and enough drama to make a reality TV show jealous. But through it all, they have persevered and now it’s time to celebrate.

And what better way to do so than with a party?

The soirée of the year will be happening at 4pm on Saturday 5.10, at 26 Burlington Street in Oakleigh.

Don’t be the one filled with regret, be the one filled with snacks, drink, laughter, and the delightful presence of the Waverley Wanderers fans..
