In a joyful ceremony at the Australian Hellenic Memorial on Sunday, 32 students were recognised for their achievements, with awards presented in the presence of proud parents, teachers, and grandparents.

The event celebrated the students’ hard work and dedication, fostering a spirit of accomplishment within Melbourne’s Greek community.

Distinguished guests included the Greek Consul General, Emmanuel Kakavelakis, and the Acting Coordinator of Educational Affairs for Australia and New Zealand, Maria Triantafyllou.

President of the Australian Hellenic Memorial Foundation, Steve Kyritsis OAM, expressed gratitude to the participating schools, teachers, and students, as well as to the sponsors.

Kyritsis also confirmed that the competition would return in 2025, continuing its mission of promoting excellence in Greek education.
