Theo Kapodistrias, a lawyer, speaker, and author with roots in Lesvos, Greece, has added another accolade to his name. His book, ‘A Way With Words’, has been awarded Best Non-Fiction Book in the Communication category at the 2024 Best Indie Book Awards (BIBAs).
Published on June this year by ReThink Press, ‘A Way With Words’ became an Amazon bestseller within 48 hours, topping five categories. The book blends Kapodistrias’ expertise as a General Counsel, speaker, and coach, offering insights into effective communication.
“It’s wonderful to receive international recognition for my book,” Kapodistrias told Neos Kosmos.
“This is one of my proudest achievements, and it’s exciting to see it resonate with readers globally.”
The BIBAs celebrate self-published and independent authors worldwide, judging works on storytelling, character development, dialogue, and overall writing quality.
Kapodistrias believes this recognition showcases Tasmanian talent on a global stage.
“This award amplifies the Tasmanian brand and highlights the valuable lessons and literature emerging from Hobart,” he said.
In addition to his writing, Kapodistrias is the Executive Director and Licensee of TEDxHobart, where he supports Tasmanians in sharing ideas on a global platform.
‘A Way With Words’ is available at Dymocks and Amazon Australia in both paperback and Kindle formats.
