Rebecca Bettiol, MYP Learning Leader (Art and Design) and Round Square Coordinator at Oakleigh Grammar, has been honoured in The Educator’s Hot List 2024, recognising Australia’s most inspiring educators.
Known for her innovative teaching and leadership, Rebecca champions creativity, critical thinking, and global citizenship through the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Art and Design. She also led the school’s first Junior School production, The Wind in the Willows, in 2024.
Ms Bettiol expressed her gratitude for the accolade, saying, “This recognition fuels my passion to empower students through creativity and a global perspective.”
As Round Square Coordinator, Rebecca connects students with a global network focused on character education and experiential learning, fostering values of leadership, democracy, and environmental stewardship.
Oakleigh Grammar Principal Mark Robertson praised Rebecca’s contributions, stating, “Rebecca exemplifies excellence in education, inspiring students to push creative boundaries while embracing global citizenship.”
