The annual Savvas Koureas Cup, a friendly football match held in memory of the late Bentleigh Greens president, will once again grace the pitch at Kingston Heath Soccer Complex.

This year’s edition, now in its second year, is set to take place on Wednesday, January 22, at 7pm with an interesting match between the Greens and the Oakleigh Cannons.

Savvas Koureas, a founding father of Bentleigh Greens, passed away in November 2023 at the age of 78. More than just a president, Koureas was the heart and soul of the club, guiding it through its formative years with unwavering dedication and integrity.
