Nick Kyrgios was seen nursing his wrist in what appears to be a possible re-injury during his practice in Indian Wells.

Kyrgios is scheduled to play lucky loser Botic van de Zandschulp from the Netherlands in a qualifying match.

The winner of that will face off with Novak Djokovic in the second round.

In a video posted on Reddit and X, Kyrgios is seen clutching his wrist in before being checked up on and then walking off the court.

Prior to the Australian Open in January, Kyrgios again suffered pain in his surgically repaired wrist as his Brisbane International comeback.

“I’ve got six holes in my hand and one in my arm (from surgery); not one tennis player has ever had this surgery and come back and tried to play again,” he said at the time.

“It’s all really an experimental (process) … no real protocol of how it’s going to be or how it’s going to pull up.”

Now there is some doubt from tennis fans on social media over whether he’ll play or withdraw.
