South Australia’s Multicultural Festival has officially started its application phase for funding to go towards community organisations wishing to feature in its 2025 edition.

The Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Zoe Bettison, formally announced the commencement of the 2025 funding application process, with three grant funding types available.

They include the Activity category and Performance category which can supply up to $500 and the Stall category (up to $250).

Community organisations can submit applications up until Sunday 18 May at 11pm.

“I encourage eligible multicultural community organisations, including new and emerging groups and first-time participants, to consider applying for a grant and be part of the 2025 Multicultural Festival,” Bettison said in the announcement.

The event will be held on Sunday 23 November in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, Adelaide.

The Festival is organised by Multicultural Affairs in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and is the state government’s flagship event for promoting and showcasing multiculturalism in South Australia.

They encouraged any and all community organisations to consider participating, noting that further details on the process can be found at www.multicultural.sa.gov.au, where they are also accepting the online application forms.
