The Hellenic Writers and Poets Association of Australia has announced its new executive board following the resignations of Secretary Lia Argyropoulou and President Roma Siahou.
In a statement the Association said “the new leadership is committed to continuing the Association’s mission of fostering literary and cultural initiatives while strengthening collaboration among members”.
“Our primary goal remains the preservation, promotion, and dissemination of our cultural heritage, as well as our deep love and respect for our homeland. ”
The newly appointed Executive Board is as follows:
- President: Ioannis Sachinidis
- Vice President: Evangelos Plokamakis
- Special Secretary: Evangelia Baxa
- Secretary: Katerina Kousi
- Treasurer: Paulina (Paola) Haidouli
- Member: Odysseas Krypotos
