This past weekend saw the conclusion of the inaugural SheUnites Cup hosted by Altona City SC.
The tournament brought together junior girls and senior women under one banner to celebrate the power of unity in female football.
It ran over four days and involved age groups ranging from under-8 up to under-18.
Mill Park SC U13 girls took home the gold, winning the Group A Final against Murray Park SC 3-0.
It was a standout performance across the board for Mill Park, who finished first placed in their group and went undefeated (with one draw).

Other Greek based clubs in the tournament included South Melbourne, Heidelberg United, Port Melbourne Sharks and Yarraville Glory.
South Melbourne U12s finished first placed in Group A and reached the final but went down 0-2 to Doreen United.
Meanwhile Yarraville Glory finished first placed for under-18s and made the final but lost in penalties to Caroline Springs George Cross.
Heidelberg U13s came second in their group after a strong opening match that saw them defeated host’s Altona City 11-0 then a 3-2 win over Sunbury United. They went on to lose to eventual finalists Murray United and then Mill Park 2-0 in the semi-final.
Port Melbourne U10s also finished second in their group with one win and two draws before narrowly coming up short in the semi-final to Williams Landing 4-3.
