In the early hours of Sunday, 30 March, Greece will move to daylight saving time, with clocks shifting forward one hour from 3am to 4am.

As a result, the time difference between Australia and Greece will be reduced from nine hours to eight, with Australia remaining ahead.

The transition marks the end of Greece’s wintertime schedule, following the European Union directive 2000/84, which governs daylight saving time changes across member states.

Meanwhile, Australia will switch back to standard winter time on Sunday, 6 April, when clocks will be set back one hour. This adjustment will further reduce the time difference with Greece to seven hours.
