Bishops and pilgrims from Australia visited the Cathedral of Panagia of Pera in Istanbul, Turkey.
On the Sunday of the Paralytic, 11 May 2025, at the Church of Panagia in the Pera District of Istanbul, the Divine Liturgy took place which was presided over by Bishop Evmenios of Chora.
Also present and joined in prayer were Bishops Elpidios of Perth, Silouan of Adelaide and Kyriakos of Melbourne, members of the Eparchial Synod of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, as well as the Grand Protosyncellus Archimandrite Gregorios.
A group of expatriates from Australia participated in the Divine Liturgy, and reverently participated in the Divine Eucharist, testifying their love and unity towards the Mother Church.
After the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches, Supervisor of the Stavrodromi District, welcomed the Holy Hierarchs and their entourage in the Church hall.
