Pharos Alliance, a community initiative dedicated to revitalising the teaching and use of the Greek language in Victoria and across Australia, is holding its first Open Meeting on Wednesday, 28 May, from 7 to 8.30pm at the Greek Centre (Level 3, 168 Lonsdale St, Melbourne).
The Alliance has been actively involved in organising bilingual parenting seminars, supporting Greek-language story times in local libraries, and advocating for policy improvements through dialogue with both Australian and Greek government officials.
This public meeting aims to introduce the community to the organisation’s current work and future goals, and to welcome broader engagement and collaboration. All members of the public are invited to attend and find out how they can support or get involved.
To register your attendance, please email pharos.au@gmail.com by close of business on Tuesday, 27 May.
