Greek Australian forward Nickoletta Flannery has signed with Cypriot Women’s First Division club Apollon Limassol.
The two-time A-League Premiership winner previously played for Melbourne Victory, Canberra United and Newcastle Jets, having made over 120 ALW appearances
Flannery made her league debut at 16, was named the Players’ Player of the Year for Canberra in 2023/24 and has represented Australia at youth international level for the Young Matildas.
“I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to join Apollon Ladies FC for the UEFA Women’s Champions League,” she said in a club announcement on social media.
“I am extremely determined to help the team, staff, club, and community achieve history and success. I can’t thank the club and team enough for the warm welcome. Let’s do this thing 💙.”
