A Greek Australian massage therapist appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday after being charged with allegedly raping a female client.
The 26-year-old is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse without consent in June of this year while working in the city’s inner southern suburbs.
Police granted K.G. bail following his arrest earlier this year.
Prosecutors requested 14 weeks before the case returns to court for a charge determination hearing.
The accused reportedly remained silent during the hearing with family members present in the gallery.
The 26-year-old could face a maximum penalty of life imprisonment if found guilty of rape.
He is due back in court in November with a date to be set then for him to answer the charge.
