State League 1 – North-West

Westvale Olympic couldn’t nick a win against Westgate, settling for a 1-1 draw that keeps the Greek Australian side nailed in fourth spot. This weekend, Olympic will be tested away at Sydenham Park.

Western Suburbs had no trouble against Corio, with Panellinios putting three past their opponents to climb level with Westgate in sixth. This round, the Greek Australian outfit will host Clifton Hill in another all-Greek derby.

Clifton Hill head into that “Greek” derby with morale in the dumps after a 2-0 defeat to Sydenham Park last time out.

Doxa finally tasted sweet victory again. The historic Yarraville side got the better of Brimbank Stallions 3-1 and are now gearing up for a home clash next week against Banyule City.

State League 1 – South-East

The “Argonauts” have their sights set on promotion, and no one looks capable of halting them. Last round, they rocked up at Aris’s ground for a derby everyone expected to go down to the wire. The visitors had other ideas, though, hammering South Springvale with five goals in one of the most resounding wins in recent years. Next week, Argonauts will host Collingwood City, while Aris head to Kooyong Park to face table-toppers Malvern.

Malvern City will go into the derby with confidence sky-high after a 3-1 away win at Doveton last weekend.

State League 2 – North-West

Altona East Phoenix keep sitting pretty in second after a thumping 4-0 win over Craigieburn City. Next week, they’ll welcome Geelong Rangers. Mill Park suffered a painful 1-0 home defeat to Uni Hill Eagles. For Round 19, the Greek Australian side will be tested away at Albion Rovers.

State League 2 – South-East

No goals in the clash between Casey Comets and Chisholm United. Next week, the Oakleigh outfit will be tested away at table-toppers St Kilda.

North Caulfield and Bentleigh United Cobras also finished goalless last weekend. The “Cobras” will host Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

State League 3 – South-East

Waverley Wanderers pulled off a massive away win, with AEK coming away from Elwood City with a 4-3 victory. This week, the “Yellow and Black” will host Rowville Eagles.

State League 4 – East

We were treated to goals galore in the match between Knox United and East Kew. Olympiakos triumphed 5-2 and climbed to sixth in the standings. On the weekend, the “Red and Whites” will host Mount Waverley City.

State League 4 – North

Keon Park were the winners of the all-Greek derby against Darebin United, edging it 1-0. Next week, AEK will play away at Glenroy Lions, while Apollon host Hume Bulls.

Preston Lions left Heidelberg Stars’ ground with all three points after a 2-1 win. This weekend, the “Greens” will face Watsonia Heights away.
