It was a tale of two halves in Greece’s last friendly before EuroBasket 2025 against France as they took the ascendency in the first two periods before falling victim to a comeback in the back two to ultimately lose 92-77 at OAKA Arena.
The Greeks led 20-17 and 49-43 at the end of the first two quarters in what was a promising display before the French overturned the deficit by going ahead 71-61 in the third and then sealing the win in the fourth with the game finishing 92-77.
Giannis Antetokounmpo starred for Greece with 20 points in their final friendly, with the team featuring numerous of their stars like Kostas Sloukas, Dinos Mitoglou, Tyler Dorsey and Kostas Papanikolaou.
Greece will now travel to Cyprus in preparation for their opening EuroBasket bout with Italy on Friday 29 August (AEST).
