Similarly, Greek Australians are taking actions to help their brothers and sisters suffering the catastrophic consequences of the wildfires ravaging through their homeland over the past weeks.
According to information provided to Neos Kosmos, Melbourne’s Greek Community is leading an initiative supported by several diaspora organisations set to hold a pan-Australian fundraising aimed to alleviate some of the immediate needs people affected by the blizzards in Greece have.
It goes without saying that Neos Kosmos will support the initiative and work closely with community organisations and the Archdiocese to raise awareness and funds towards assisting the victims of what has been dubbed, “a biblical catastrophe” in Greece.
