Bloomberg has released it’s monthly “COVID Resilience Ranking” list of countries, listing the best countries to live in during the pandemic and Australia has taken the largest nose dive down the list.
The company’s list takes into consideration how economies are attempting to recover from the pandemic crisis and meet the challenges of the Delta variant.
Australia sat in at 28th place, falling 21 places and recording the largest decline of the 53 countries surveyed.
Greece also dropped two places but is above Australia in 21st place.

At the top of the list is Norway, which has fully vaccinated about 50 per cent of the population, has minimal deaths from COVID, while keeping the border open.
That last point is what gave the Norwegians the top spot, ahead of Switzerland, which maintains a series of restrictions on travel inputs. New Zealand took our third place.
Bloomberg’s revised list also takes into account the Delta variant, which threatens several countries, reinstating the imposition of certain restrictive measures, as is already the case in several countries.
In total, the US agency’s ranking is based on 12 categories, including the spread of the virus, the quality of the health system, vaccination coverage, mortality and travel restrictions.
