Greece has boosted its ranking, making it back into the top 10 for the first time since October 2012.

Moving up three points to 10, the new positioning is a testament to coach Fernando Santos’ efforts, getting the team into the World Cup and achieving 24 wins,
13 draws and only 5 losses from the time he took the reins.

The national team is also sixth in Europe, with Spain still holding the top position and Germany following.

England is now 11th , and will be nipping at Greece’s heels throughout the next few months, where anything could happen.

Australia sits at an abysmal 59th, the lowest ranked team to make it into the World Cup.

Colombia is now South America’s top-ranked nation after Argentina slid three places, and Belgium was the only team to fall out of the top 10, slipping to 12th.

The biggest drop by ranks was Liberia, down 22 and losing 113 points.
