Your greatest achievements and how you reached them

I managed to adjust in Australia in less than one year, after coming from Greece. Also, I was selected for the position of the St John’s College school vice captain and I got the Dux of Year 11 and 12. I was able to manage all these by studying many hours and being dedicated to my goal, which is university, despite all the difficulties that I faced during these two years.

Goal for the future

My goals for the future is to get a high ENTER score and get into Melbourne University to study Psychology.

People you most admire and why

I admire my parents- my mum because she always encourages me to do new things and be strong in life. Also my father because he gave me the best advice that he could have given me, in order to always do the right thing and being able to face life.

Most embarrassing moment

When I was in Greece, in the port that we used to go for coffee, I was sitting on the stairs near the sea and there were crabs on the stairs. As I went to scare them I fell in the sea and all the people around me were laughing.

If I could say anything to the Greek community…

Never give up our Greek background and always be proud of it, as it is one of the most important things we were born with.
