Despite the traumatic experience of losing her friend and producer Greg Ladanyi on tour in Cyprus, Anna Vissi still endeavors to keep things on track in the studio.

The star has almost finished recording a new English album, which includes a number of collaborations with various artists including the late Ladanyi.

Vissi has also teamed up with Dave Stewart on a song called Leap of Faith. The track has been chosen to be the theme song for a charity foundation in Los Angeles, which is chaired by Stewart.

Stewart has described Leap of Faith as a “love story”, and has announced that the film clip will include an extended video, which is to be filmed in Greece.
Stewart has taken a liking to photographing the veteran pop singer and describes her as “a beautiful person inside and out”.

He is also expected to appear as one of Vissi’s guests at her Athinon Arena shows.

Plans to release Vissi’s English album have been put on hold for the time being after the shock death of the Vissi’s producer and manager, Greg Ladanyi.

Stewart touched on the sensitive subject of Ladanyi’s death on his Twitter page last week, “When Greg died, we were all in shock”.

Dave Stewart is an English musician and record producer best known for his work with the band Eurythmics in the 1980s.

He has written songs with many famous artists from the industry including Gwen Stefani, Jon Bon Jovi and Mick Jagger.

He cites one of his main strengths to be the ability to coax personal stories from his co-writers.
