Greek born Dimitris Mitch Moras is a 33 year old who arrived in Melbourne in March, to visit with family and friends; two weeks after his arrival Mitch felt unwell. He was diagnosed with high-risk Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Mitch’s treatment commenced at the Alfred Hospital one week after his initial diagnosis. He has completed his first cycle of chemotherapy and has a long and difficult road ahead with more chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant scheduled for the coming months.
