Flavoured by Middle Eastern, Celtic, Asian, Greek and African influences, and featuring musicians of the highest calibre, Melbourne-based The Light Trio will perform at the Melbourne Recital Centre, as part of the Mood Indigo series.
The concert of The Light Trio, famous for performing extraordinarily beautiful and original music with harp as the melodic focus, will be a fusion of world, folk, ethereal and ambient groove music.
With Evripides Evripidou on six-string bass and guitar, David Jones on drums and Michael Johnson on folk harp, The Light Trio has a special chemistry – musicianship of the highest calibre, enriched by the respect and friendship, and influenced by their life-long interest in the meditative and healing power of music.
