Spice loves giving you all the gossip from Hollywood, and this week we hone in on Greek Aussie, Zoe Carides, who has broken the U.S. circuit and is now staring at a very promising future.

Carides’ latest endeavor involves her premiering on an episode of a new U.S. miniseries called The Pacific.

The miniseries is a World War II drama produced by HBO in the United States, Seven Network in Australia and DreamWorks.

The
story follows two memoirs of U.S. Marines, Eugene Sledge and Robert
Leckie, during the time when the war raged against the Japanese empire.

Born in Sydney to a British mother and Greek father, Carides is the sister of Gia Carides (Austin Powers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and sister-in-law to international star Anthony LaPaglia.

In the early stages of her career, Zoe debuted in various Australian shows. In 1991, she landed her first movie role in the film Death in Brunswick.

Carides is best known for her roles in TV series White Collar Blue, All Saints and Acropolis Now.

Watch out for Carides’ cameo on Channel Seven in 2010.
