A car is struck up a tree in Melbourne’s south east.
The driver of another vehicle accidently hit the accelerator instead of the brake when leaving a nearby eye clinic before crossing traffic on Warrigal Road, Oakleigh, shunting the Toyota Kluger between a fence and the tree.
The driver of the Toyota, in his 40s, has been taken to the Alfred hospital with non life threatening injuries and is in a stable condition.
A man and woman in the other car are being treated at the scene for minor injuries.
