SBS Radio has announced its new Executive Producer for the Greek Program and it is no other than Efthymios (Themi) Kallos.

Themi takes on a new career challenge with SBS Greek Program, promising the station will produce even greater content under his leadership.

Greek born and raised Themi, first joined SBS (2EA) as a casual broadcaster, in June 1990 and he has since been known for his special interest in Community and current affairs, news and sport.

In April 1994 he was hired as a fulltime Senior Journalist/Broadcaster with the Greek Program.

Themi was employed as an SBS Program Manager for the period 2000 – 2002, during which he acted twice as Station Manager.

As of October 21 2015 he is officially at the helm of the Greek Program’s team, with an aim to grow and engage Greek Australian audiences.

Themi has worked for the Greek Australian print media in Sydney, while he still publishes work in Greek speaking media around the world.

SBS Greek Radio’s new EP, has completed Journalism and Broadcasting courses at the Faculty of Communications, at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and other broadcasting courses offered at SBS.
