Are you at a place in your life where you feel like you can achieve more but you aren’t sure where to start or if you have what it takes to be at the top of the game? You may be on the path to success, but do you really know what makes the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people?

“More often than not, the biggest factor that holds us back from reaching our goals is ourselves,” Louisa Nicola tells Neos Kosmos.

“I believe we are all diamonds in the rough, and I took it upon myself to map out an equation that uses this diamond analogy, to get me to my ultimate self.”

The Newcastle-born Greek Cypriot coach has the answers to your questions and strongly believes that peak performance coaching can help you break the existing patterns in your behaviour that are keeping you from accomplishing what it is you want to achieve.

‘The Diamond Boss’, her intensive coaching program, is designed specifically to educate and empower women with the necessary strategies, tools and necessary accountability to achieve the result they desire.

“Peak performance sparks transformation and women can break through existing patterns that are limiting them from achieving the life they want to lead,” she says.

“My project is not as much motivational as it is scientific. We put a specific structure in place to achieve that goal. ”

Louisa is an admired and well-respected female figure in the speaking world, having presented at many high-profile events across the country. In her 28 years she has travelled the world competing as a triathlete, lived in Europe and worked with some of the best entrepreneurs in Australia while holding a masters degree in mathematics and teaching.

“Placing myself under immense pressure over the last 10 years I have been able to find what truly matters to me in life, and from this, I have found my worth,” she emphasises.

Louisa’s drive and determination to enrich the lives of women earned her an invite to Richard Branson’s private island to explore her ambitions in depth with the billionaire entrepreneur. Seeing a gap in the market for women to develop themselves both personally and professionally, she wanted to create a space for all women everywhere.

“The idea came about while I was a triathlete. I started out very rough, without having any athletic ability,” she admits.

“My coach actually said to me ‘I’m going to place you under a lot of pressure and we’re going to turn you into a diamond. When we turn you into a diamond, then you’re going to make it in the Australian team.’ I trained vigorously for seven days a week and six years later, at the age of 25, I made it in.”

Louisa realised that behind every world-class athlete, champion team or outstanding musician there lies a coach. By focusing on results-driven coaching, The Diamond Boss has a unique way of working with women to empower them to focus and be held accountable for achieving the results and goals that they sought.

“The most effective way to improve your individual performance in any given scenario is to continually practice the strategies and fundamentals given to you by a coach,” she continues.

“I know a lot of women who are trying to juggle everything – to be a mother, a wife, a businesswoman, and they sometimes get overwhelmed being part of the actual situation and don’t know how to get there.”

Meanwhile, the coach noticed that more often than not, life coaches in Australia work online rather than face-to-face and are rarely of ethnic background.

I’m actually dealing more with the middle-Eastern and ethnic communities as well as with women of Greek and Cypriot descent at the age of 30-32, who are debilitated by the stress of not having achieved all of these goals dictated by their culture.

“According to the stories we formulate the strategies through a range of mediums, such as research, highly motivational presentations and so on,” Louisa adds, explaining that during the four and six-week courses, she comes up with a specifically designed road-map for each woman.

“Again, the most important part to understand is what is keeping you from achieving what you want. Spotting the issues can fast-track you to where you aspire to be,” she concludes.
