Proving that she is in great form for the 2016 Rio Olympics, Katerina Stefanidi flew high over the pole vault at the Filothei Athletics Gala meet.

The Greek athlete already holds the national record in the women’s pole vault, clearing 4.90 metres in New York back in February, after breaking the former 4.81 metre national indoor record held previously by athlete Nicole Kyriakopoulou.

Stefanidi’s jump over 4.90m was the second best indoor performance in the world making last week’s performance the 5th best in the history of the sport.

Katerina’s goal is to fly over 5 metres.
