Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration with families coming together all around the world. However, if times are tough or if you are a long way from home, it can be a difficult time for many.

The staff at Delphi Bank, together with PRONIA, recently engaged in fundraising efforts to help give hope to families in need this Christmas, opting out of their annual Kris Kringle activities and instead donating money towards the purchase of vouchers for families who are in need during this festive period.

Through the program Provide Settlement Services for People Newly Arrived from Greece, PRONIA supports individuals during settlement by providing information, referral and liaison with health, social security, housing, employment, education and training services, as well as crisis intervention, information and referral for skills recognition and skills building.

It also offers seminars and workshops for job seekers, practical support and advocacy to access fundamental rights and services, migration information and a referral service.

This initiative is just one of the many ways Delphi Bank aims to give back and assist others who are not always as fortunate at Christmas, to help their customers and strengthen the prosperity of the communities around them having developed a diverse community engagement program over the years, with the organisation proudly supporting 300 charities, volunteer groups and cultural causes.
