The Food For Thought Network (FFTN) is kicking off 2017 with an insightful presentation on the significance of resilience.

Together with Myriad consultants, on Sunday 15 January the network is presenting two visiting academics from the University of Western Macedonia’s School of Pedagogy in Florina, Associate Professor Catherine Dimitriadou and Agapi Vrantsi, who are currently investigating resilience in children.

The pair have chosen their field of research based on the fact that leaders around the world consider resilience to be the most important leadership competency in the world. So when it comes to vulnerable countries, such as those going through financial crises, this competency becomes a key priority to persevere and make it through.

Moderating the event will be Maria Dimopoulos, while Federal Member for Calwell, Maria Vamvakinou MP, will be the host.

The presentation will take place on Sunday 15 January at Moroccan Delicacy (313 Lygon St, Brunswick East, VIC) at 6.30 pm. Cost of attendance is $60 for members and $70 for non-members. To make a booking, visit
