Tzimis Panousis, one of Greece’s most controversial comedians and song writers died on Saturday (local time) after suffering a heart attack.

He was taken to Red Cross Hospital (Erythros Stavros) but the doctors failed to resuscitate him, AMNA reports.

Panousis, 64, had been hospitalised before, following another collapse on stage related to heart issues back in December 2017.

The provoking comedian had remained in hospital for a few days and was planning to return to his stand up comedy routine.
