The sculpture ‘The Lady of Kalymnos’, which was found off the island in the Dodecanese, has found a permanent home with the opening of the new Archeological Museum of Kalymnos last week.

The new museum, located in Pothias, features pieces from the Pre-Historic to the Post-Byzantine eras.

The museum also features sculptures of Apollo and Asklipios, as well as brass and marble statuettes, ceramics, coins, religious icons and jewellery from various periods of the island’s history.
