A great Greek night in the Eurocup on Tuesday saw all three teams score wins and maintain realistic hopes of reaching the knock-out stages of Europe’s second-tier competition.

Aris are now alone on top of their group after beating Croatia’s Cedevita 85-76, also covering their five-point loss at Zagreb a week earlier. Aris now have three wins in four games.

An impressive Costas Charalambidis led the scoring for the Thessaloniki side with 16 points, followed by usual suspect PJ Tucker with 15.

Panellinios defeated Turkey’s Galatasaray 66-62 at Lamia for their second win and are level on points with Italy’s Cantu, which they host next week.

Manolis Papamakarios and Joe Krabbenhoft scored 15 points each for the Greeks.

PAOK also registered their second victory in four games, beating Roanne for the second time within one week.

The players of coach Soulis Markopoulos won 72-60 in France, led by Rawle Marshall with 19 points and six rebounds.
