Alphington Grammar celebrated its 20th anniversary with a gala dinner on Saturday.

The president of the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne Victoria, Bill Papastergiadis highlighted the school’s success in focusing on each individual student and on the importance of community.

He also relayed the story  of how Nick Andianakos’s whose two sons are Alphington alumni, gave $300,000 towards the school’s multi-purpose hall, following a discussion in Greece last year.

The chairperson of Alphington Grammar, George Fountas, highlighted the multicultural nature of the school and Jenny Mikakos MP congratulate the school on behalf of the Victorian Premier Jonh Brumby and the Minister of Education Bronwyn Pike.
