Spanish clothing retailer Zara opened in Melbourne.
The Bourke Street store is the second Zara outlet to open in Australia after the Sydney store opened in April this year. Hundreds of eager fans lined the Bourke Street Mall waiting for the doors to open at 9.00 am Tuesday 14 June. Some even camped out to make sure they were the first to enter the clothing giant.
The first Zara shop opened in Spain in 1975, and now can be found worldwide. Zara creates clothes for women, men and children and has a strong shoe and accessory line.
The brand Zara is very popular in Greece, as their simple yet sophisticated clothing transcends fads and passing trends. They are a style icon of their own.
