Emerging and multicultural communities are being encouraged to attend this years Royal Adelaide Show. Multicultural SA has been consulted to aid in this development.
The show is offering discounted tickets to groups of 20 or more. For a group consisting of five families of four – technically two adults and two children but other configurations will be considered – would total $180.00. Ethnic community organisations that would like to take up this offer could consider applying to the Multicultural Grants Scheme for assistance, for example, towards the cost of transport to and from the show.
The show has also introduced a Volunteer Program this year, which could be an opportunity for those seeking employment to gain some valuable work experience.
