It is that time of the year again for the NUGAS National Annual General Meeting. At this meeting, a new committee will be elected and in true NUGAS spirit they are making a weekend out of it. Each year this event is held in a different state and for the first time in 12 year’s the NUGAS AGM will go to the West Coast of Australia to Perth.
The conference will be held during the first weekend in August from Friday 5 August to Monday 8 August and it’s recommended to book flights early to make sure you get the best price.
The itinerary for this conference includes:
Friday 5 August: registration at Apartments/Hotel (Location TBA, will be central) from 2.00 pm onwards, Welcome Cocktail Night at one of Perth’s newest venues, XO Lounge from 8.30 pm.
Saturday 6 August: Scenic River Cruise from Perth to Fremantle at 11.00 am, free time to explore Fremantle and have lunch at one of its many restaurants. Return to the hotel for pre-drinks, following a night out at some of Perth’s best nightclubs.
Sunday 7 August: NUGAS AGM, 12.00 pm at the Hellenic Community. For anyone not attending the meeting, you are given free time to explore Perth and visit attractions such as Kings Park, Hillary’s Boat Harbour or the suburb of Subiaco. Dinner at Ouzo Greek Restaurant including live entertainment and plate smashing later that night.
Monday 8 August: 10.30 am is check out with an option for a late breakfast.
Package price is $300.00 and includes the above activities plus three nights accommodation (check in Friday 2.00 pm and check out Monday 10.00 am). Please note this does not include flights.
