A police raid on a home in suburban Brunswick, Victoria, has uncovered drugs and firearms, including a pistol with a silencer and a Taser-like weapon.
Members of the Fawkner Divisional Response Unit raided the house in Blythe Street last Monday and, as well as the weapons, they found a cache made up of ice, ecstasy tablets, cocaine, cannabis and hashish.
A large amount of money was also found. Dimitrios Georgakopoulos, 37, of Brunswick, has been charged with possession of drugs, an unregistered firearm, a prohibited weapon and proceeds of crime.
He has been remanded in custody.
