Vicky Soteriou has appealed her 12 year jail term for the attempted murder of her husband Chris Soteriou.
The 44-year-old has lodged papers with the Court of Appeal seeking leave to appeal against her conviction.
The mother of three was sentenced last year to the term – with a non-parole term of nine years – after her and her lover Ari Dimitrakis plotted to kill her husband.
Dimitrakis stabbed Soteriou six times after he left his 44th birthday celebrations but thankfully survived the injuries.
During the trial, Justice Elizabeth Curtain said she was satisfied it had been Soteriou’s idea to kill her husband. Dimitrakis was jailed for seven years with a non-parole term of five years.
