The Greek Education Office in Australia – Sydney Examination Centre – hasannounced that the application process for the Examination for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek May 2012 has begun.

In addition, the Greek Education Office at the Greek Consulate in Sydney is open for information and applications on Wednesdays 9:30 am – 3:00 pm, telephone (02) 92833800. Applications close March 21.
The Certificate of Attainment in Greek is the only state and officially recognised certificate that certifies the knowledge of Greek as a second/foreign language at six levels, from A1 for children 8-12 years old to C2 for adults.
The Sydney Examination Centre has been organising this examination successfully the last few years and the number of candidates increases steadily every year. It is important to support this certificate as it offers a valid and professional recognition of one’s knowledge of the Greek Language, as well as empowers the teaching of Modern Greek in Australia by maintaining the connection with Greece.
