A 61-year-old Australian was arrested yesterday after illegally entering Ancient Olympia. According to sources, the woman had wanted to photograph the site at sunrise and crossed over the fence at around 6 a.m. She was spotted by a guard assuming the early morning shift.
According to sources, no guards watch the site during the night although seasonal employees are due to start night shifts in the coming days.
