A Greek businessman has reportedly been kidnapped in Piraeus on Thursday morning (local time), Skai TV channel reported.
According to witnesses and CCTV records four suspects forcefully apprehended the victim and made him board a black Volkswagen SUV while he was walking towards his car parked on Akti Themistokleous.
Authorities believe that the four well-built kidnappers who reportedly wore clothes bearing the insignia of the police force’s elite EKAM counter-terrorism units, will soon contact the businessman’s family asking for an exchange.
Police stated that there has been no request for ransom for the 50-year-old businessman who owns a company that imports alcoholic beverages and tobacco products and is also a supplier of embassies and shipping companies.
