Champion Greek shooter Anna Korakaki won another bronze medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup games in Beijing on Sunday, placing third in the 25m pistol event.

The Greek Olympic winner received bronze with a score of 30, coming behind Marija Grozdeva from Bulgaria (36) and Veronika Major from Hungary (35).

Korakaki, one of the world’s top shooters, has already been selected to compete for Greece in the Olympic Games due to take place in Tokyo in 2020.

Korakaki has brought a gold medal to Greece in 2016 in the 25m pistol and a bronze medal in the 10m pistol. She became the first Greek woman to win two Olympic medals in the same competition.

She is coached by her father, retired shooter Tassos Korakakis, and is an undergraduate student studying for a degree in Special Education at the University of Macedonia.
