The St Kilda Football Club has axed Jason Gram after the player faced court charged with four counts of breaching an intervention order. The 28 year old was arrested last Monday night and held in custody until his appearance at the Moorabbin Magistrates Court on Tuesday
The court heard Gram breached his bail conditions by breaking an intervention order imposed on him in early September. Gram was suspended indefinitely after he was charged in September this year and granted bail on the condition that he stop contacting the woman.
Police opposed his application for bail, as they alleged that since he was charged on September 6, he sent a woman 98 text messages and 16 Facebook messages. Gram who my nominate in the AFL’s national draft, is due to appear in court again next month.
