Greek American actress/singer Rita Wilson got a serve of Prince Phillip of Edinburgh’s sense of humour when she met him at Buckingham Palace alongside her husband Tom Hanks.
She described the awkward moment during an interview on American talkback show Conan and said when she met the Prince she mentioned their shared Greek background.
“I believe that you and I have some shared common heritage, I’m half-Greek,” she told the Prince, who replied with the sombre, “Oh, sorry for you.”
