UN envoy Matthew Nimetz will pay a visit to Athens and Skopje in the coming weeks, and the issue of the naming of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
(FYROM) will be a hot agenda item. Nimetz will present proposals to both Athens and Skopje about the name, but the proposals will include a geographic descriptor, without going into issues of identity and language.
